Trainers of TOSMI 2009:

Theodore Dounas (Greece) - Architect Engineer, “XD Architecture & Design” principal architect, Phd candidate: Research in computer aided architectural design, shape grammars and shape studies. Teaching of computer aided architectural design in the educational organization Papiotis. Theodore is one of the leading people behind TOSMI.

Bassam Kurdali (USA) – A 3D animator/filmmaker, director of Elephants Dream. His character, ManCandy, began as an easily animatable test bed for rigging experiments. Under the aegis of Freefac, Bassam is continuing to explore a model of production that capitalizes on commonwealth. He teaches, writes and lectures around the world on open production and free software technique. Born in Aleppo, Syria, Bassam trained in the United States as an electrical and software engineer.

Nelson Inomvan (Bulgaria) – As a lead artist at Haemimont Games, he has collected experience with the whole process of game art production in the industry. His works can be seen at his blog or at CGsociety.

Miroslav Brozovic (Croatia) - About 10 years experience in 3D and 5 years in Blender. Has been using it for freelance videos, stills and games ever since. Miro has also been involved as trainer in several 3d workshops.

Martin Ruskov (Bulgaria) - Several years of experience as a teaching assistant at universities in Germany and Bulgaria. Various involvement in software projects on interactive media and digital storytelling platforms. Interests in educational games, member of Bulgarian Blender Community. Recently Martin joined a University College London as a PhD researcher for the development of a serious game.

Vladimir Petkov, aka Kaladan (Bulgaria) - Manages the online projects at Economedia (a leading media group and classical publisher of newspapers and magazines in Bulgaria, successfully having embraced the challenge of online development in the last years). Kaladan is responsible for the conceptual, technological and marketing development of 25 online media projects. His busy schedule spans between the office of Economedia, his blog, the i-phone and his daughter Kalina. Claims to be unbeaten on Nintendo Wii Tennis.

Alexandros Sigalas (Greece) - Student of Architecture at Department of Architecture University of Thessaly. Works as a freelancer multimedia and infrastracture support and webdevelopment. He has experience with both commercial and open-source multimedia creation software in areas covering video-editing, compositing, 3d modelling and animation, architectural visualisation, interactive content and desktop publishing. He was a trainee at the second course of Tosmi 2007 .

Milen Hristov (Bulgaria) - A software programmer with more than 8 years experience in various programming languages. Worked as software engineer for one of the leading companies of VOIP solutions.He was one of the initiators of BSDcon - a panel about BSD Operating Systems, part of Openfest, an annual conference dedicated to free and open source software, free culture and free knowledge share. As a member of InterSpace, Milen was involved in various projects.

Peter Slavov (Bulgaria) – Developer of ISLD (Inter Space Libre Desktop) Linux distribution, deep skills of server development, administrating and maintaining. Web programing skills - PHP/HTLM/JavaScript/Ajax. Trainer and Lecturer in various courses related to FOSS system development.

Thanos Koukoulis (Greece) - Independent IT consultant. Has worked as a manager and consultant with several companies designing and implementing online projects. Works exclusively using Open Source Software and is active in the Greek Open Source community.
