Theodore Dounas (Greece) - Architect Engineer, “XD Architecture & Design” principal architect, Phd candidate: Research in computer aided architectural design, shape grammars and shape studies. Teaching of computer aided architectural design in the educational organization Papiotis. In Tosmi 2007 Dounas taught animation with Blender.


Oliver Schneider
(Germany) – Researcher in Non-Linear Extended Blended Learning (University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt, University of Plymouth). Schneider has about ten years experience in Open Source technologies, having been head of various Virtual-, Augmented- and Mixed-Reality research projects. Trainer and lecturer for sound-engineering, camera-assistance and interactive programming. Background in professional sound recording, live mixing, TV-production, media-technology, and mobile game development.

Dr. Benjamin Hodges (USA) - Cultural anthropologist and new media artist. In his research, he studies the emergent cultures around open source software, 3d animation, and pop culture. As an educator and consultant, Dr. Hodges regularly lectures on the potential of an open source work flow. Dr. Hodges is also a blender artist and member of the Blender Educational Review Board. His work can be seen online at his site.

Martin Ruskov (Bulgaria) - 7-year long history as a teaching assistant at universities in Germany and Bulgaria, incl. courses in Computer Graphics. Various involvement in software projects on interactive media and digital storytelling platforms, incl. FOSS project Sophie. Interests in educational games, member of Bulgarian Blender Community.

Vladimir Petkov, aka Kaladan (Bulgaria) - Manages the online projects at Economedia (a leading media group and classical publisher of newspapers and magazines in Bulgaria, successfully having embraced the challenge of online development in the last years). Kaladan is responsible for the conceptual, technological and marketing development of 25 online media projects. His busy schedule spans between the office of Economedia, his blog, the i-phone and his daughter Kalina. Claims to be unbeaten on Nintendo Wii Tennis.

Alexandros Sigalas (Greece) - Student of Architecture at Department of Architecture University of Thessaly. Works as a freelancer multimedia and infrastracture support and webdevelopment. He has experience with both commercial and open-source multimedia creation software in areas covering video-editing, compositing, 3d modelling and animation, architectural visualisation, interactive content and desktop publishing. He was a trainee at the second course of Tosmi 2007 .

Raicho Nikolov - software developer and recently a web developer. A participant of TOSMI 2007. Uses free and open source software for about 10 years for different kinds of multimedia like editing images, audio and video and creating vector graphics and music.

Sanu Vamanchery Mana (India) - 8 years of experience in the broadcast, gaming and web Industry. Thorough knowledge of 3D Max and Maya’s capabilities. Skilled modeler, excellent lighting, dynamic procedural texturing, compositing, keying and mattes, motion tracking and rotoscoping.

Vladimir Petkov (Bulgaria) - 4 years experience in FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) trainings in different countries like Bulgaria, Macedonia, Sierra Leone, Kosovo, Serbia, Croatia, UK, Poland, Tajikistan, Namibia. Member of Eriders network, editor and one of the main translators in the project for translation of GNOME in Bulgarian

Peter Slavov (Bulgaria) – Developer of ISLD (Inter Space Libre Desktop) Linux distribution, deep skills of server development, administrating and maintaining. Trainer and Lecturer in various courses related to FOSS system development.
